Body in Motion was founded by Mary Guarente in 2002 to provide targeted, one-hour, efficient and effective workouts that work all the muscles of the body and provide amazing results. The Studio offers Barre and Pilates with Equipment classes for a variety of beginners, intermediate and advanced students. We offer more than 30 classes per week, and serves the communities of Wellesley, Weston, Natick, Needham, Sudbury, Dover, and the surrounding towns.
Our mission is to provide efficient and effective classes designed to quickly tone and lift the body. An extension of Pilates, we offer barre workouts – the nation’s hottest new fitness trend. Known as a stepped-up version of Pilates, barre is a 60-minute timed exercise class to music that works each muscle to exhaustion, while lengthening, toning and shaping muscles integrating the barre, mats, light weights and bands.
The result of all Body in Motion workouts are sculpted, firmer, lifted, toned bodies with improved posture and stature, muscle strength and weight loss.
Our Staff
All of Body in Motion’s instructors are fully certified to teach both barre and/or Pilates.
